What We Do...
" ... the only thing that matters is what makes you feel comfortable."
Estate planning is a popular topic of conversation at dinner parties and family events. We often have clients come in to see us who tell us that they have heard from friends that they must have a Medicaid Asset Protection Trust to save their homes or they must have a Revocable/Living Trust to avoid probate. We do not believe that at Gullotta and Shilinski. Not everyone wants to spend the money on a Revocable Trust to avoid probate and not everyone fits the fact pattern to benefit from a Medicaid Asset Protection Trust. We tell our clients that the only thing that matters is what makes them feel comfortable. We listen, we answer questions, and if a client decides that what is best is a Will then that is the right answer.
